SEO Analytics With Google Analytics
This is a great video y Ian Lurie of Conversation Marketing on how to use Google Analytics to interpret data from your search engine marketing campaigns. The three most important pieces of information you will want to understand from your traffic statistics are:
- Keyword data: Which keywords are driving the most traffic to your site?
- Keyword value: Which keywords account for the most engagement in your site? Which keywords drive the most conversions?
- Page context: Which pages receive the most search traffic? What keywords are associated with those pages?

I am impressed at how quickly new features get added to GA and other Google apps, that even Google, let alone others, can’t keep up. I’ve often run into outdated Google help topics & tutorials.
Go for the concepts, and don’t be phased by changes in details!

i’m quite leery of using gAnalytics for my sites.for example if you pass links between your sites could google not discredit those links?this may not bother others but i’m quite paranoid about using gAnalytics.
