The Eagle and the Condor is an ancient prophecy of the Amazon that says that many aeons ago, humanity split into two paths - that of the Eagle, and that of the Condor.
The path of the Eagle is the path of the mind; it is masculine, intellectual, logical, industrial, scientific, and oriented towards material progress. The Eagle people are the people of the North; they have been the explorers, the colonists, and the conquerors in human history. To them, the Earth is meant to be exploited.
The path of the Condor is the path of the heart; it is feminine, intuitive, mystical, nurturing, holistic, and creative. The Condor people are the people of the South; they are the indigenous people who value the spiritual over the rational, creative arts over industrial production, and see humanity as one integral part of the Web of Life. To them, the Earth is meant to be honored.
For many centuries these two paths would not cross at all. Then, in the Fourth Pachakuti, would begin a 500 year period where the Eagle people would become so strong, they would drive the Condor people close to extinction. The Fourth Pachakuti began in the 1490s, and is marked by the genocide of indigenous people in the Americas and elsewhere up to and including today.
However, the Condor Eagle Prophecy states that during the Fifth Pachakuti, the Eagle and the Condor will fly together in one sky, and that this union of masculine and feminine would give birth to a higher consciousness.
The fulfillment of this prophecy is being realized around the globe, in the expansion of sacred plant medicines and shamanic teachings outside their ancestral homes, to the inclusion of indigenous wisdom keepers and ceremonial altars in festivals that draw tens of thousands of people… and in the offering of this online initiation program.
